Resident Spotlight: Mary H

Meet Mary, our very own master (and advanced master) gardener extraordinaire! Mary takes care of all of our indoor potted plants as well as our seasonal outdoor flowers. She first fell in love with flowers at the age of 5 with her grandmother and then always had flowers in the house growing up. She explained that flowers bring her so much joy because it’s like bringing the outdoors in. One of her professors once told her, “Every home must have fresh flowers, fresh fruit, and a cookie jar” and she never forgot that advice. While she was working, every time she would deposit a pay check, she would immediately go buy a bouquet of flowers. She doesn’t have a favorite because she likes them all. Mary you are amazing!
