Role of Art in Ageism Presentation

Happy Wellness Wednesday folks! We have a great partnership with UNCW that feeds into our programming at Carolina Bay. On Friday we had Dr. Tina Newsham, the program coordinator of the Gerontology department, to present on the role of art in addressing ageism and promoting an age-inclusive society.
Later that weekend our wonderful Wellness Associate Madison Norris, who is completing her Masters of Applied Gerontology this May, got to present her thesis on financial elder abuse on campus at UNCW. She crushed it!
We are so thankful for the many ways UNCW continues to play a part in our Wellness programing!
