Right Where She Belongs: Samantha Johnson’s Journey at Carolina Bay

Samantha Johnson has stepped into the role of Marketing Director at Carolina Bay, bringing with her a deep passion for helping seniors live joyful, meaningful lives. While her title is new, Samantha is no stranger to the community. Right out of college, she began her career at Carolina Bay as Life Enrichment Director, where she spent nearly five years creating programs that nurtured connection, purpose, and fun.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Samantha majored in recreational therapy with a minor in psychology. Her calling to senior living was shaped early by a close relationship with her grandfather, who she said was her best friend. He inspired her career centered on compassion and service.

When the marketing role became available, Samantha knew it was the perfect next step. “I cannot imagine working anywhere else,” she said. Her background in life enrichment continues to guide her work as she now welcomes others into the vibrant lifestyle Carolina Bay offers, serving seniors in a new and meaningful way.
