From the Putting Green to the Winner’s Circle
At Carolina Bay at Autumn Hall, spring and summer bring more than warmer weather. They also bring two favorite traditions that residents look forward to year after year.
The community recently celebrated golf season with its annual Masters Putting Tournament, held on Carolina Bay’s six hole putting green. Residents tested their skills, enjoyed friendly competition, and soaked up the festive atmosphere. Staff got into the spirit by sporting golf themed shirts and hats, while refreshments included creative tournament-inspired treats and drinks. A crowd favorite was the hole-in-one donut holes, which disappeared almost as quickly as a well-aimed putt.
Not long after, residents traded golf attire for Derby fashion at Carolina Bay’s Kentucky Derby celebration. Elegant hats, mint juleps, oysters on the half shell, and plenty of Derby day flair helped create the feeling of being trackside at Churchill Downs.
Together, these annual events prove that at Carolina Bay, traditions are always worth celebrating.
