Today is Read Across America Day! How lucky are we at Carolina Bay to be surrounded by stacks and stacks of books in our beautiful Library?! To celebrate, the Life Enrichment Department hosted a discussion where we discussed our favorite books where we were able to relive favorites and add to our “to be read” lists!
Some Resident favorites include: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, World News by Paulette Jiles, The Agony and The Ecstasy by Irving Stone, and Where the Crawdad’s Sing by Delia Owens.
Some Staff favorites include: Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, Pachinko by Min Jin Lee, The Book of Joy by 14th Dalai Lama, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
