At Carolina Bay, we have a variety of performers come in and share their talent with our residents. The spotlight is on
Susan Savia, Mary Mikels, Scotti Stringz and Benjamin James.
Susan Savia is a one-woman show with guitar, a harmonica and a beautiful voice! She sings a variety of music from oldies to rock n roll, jazz and more.Mary Mikels, a Raleigh native with Blind Notes Music, moved us all with her performance. Even though she can’t see the words on the page, her incredible talent brought tears to our eyes.
Scotti Stringz is another local who plays alternative, blues, and Christian contemporary music. His stage presence is charming and his voice is great!
Benjamin James, a 17-year-old rising senior graced us with his beautiful piano playing. He played some well-known favorites as well as sharing some of the history of the songs.
