Amazing…Pate a Choux, a French Dough Creation

Many of us at Carolina Bay, have never heard of the term Pate a Choux, a French dough used to make pastries. Thanks to our head Chef TJ, residents had the opportunity to sit in and watch the entire process. This will be a once a month event, learning new cooking/baking techniques. The dough is made with butter, flour, water and eggs. When baked, is light and fluffy and ready to be filled with cream! The eclairs and cream puffs were then dipped in chocolate bath for that shiny finishing touch! The samples were amazing!
